Today, at the premises of the Agency for national security to attend a study visit by the students of the Faculty of security – Skopje, macedonia, which is an important step in the strengthening of the ties between the academic community and the security institutions of the country. This event is part of the initiatives arising from the Memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Agency for national security, and integrated security.

The visit is particularly significant because, for the first time since its inception, the Agency has officially opened the doors to a student audience. This opportunity was made possible through the support and initiative of the director general of the АНБ, Jana Hristovski, who recognized the importance of the right introduction to the emerging professionals with the practical work, and the role of the institutions in the system of national security.

At the time of the visit, the students had the opportunity to become familiar with its mission, responsibilities, organizational structure, and operational priorities of the Agency. Through lectures and presentations by experienced professionals and experts, and the students got a glimpse into a way of doing it, the ongoing challenges faced by the АНБ, in the context of the protection of the constitutional order, the prevention of intelligence and subversive activities, as well as the face of the modern security threats.

In this way, the visit has contributed to the development of theoretical knowledge of the students with practical perspectives, and real life experience in the field.

The visit is part of a broader effort for the advancement of public education and the exchange of knowledge and the creation of an open dialogue between the academic institutions and the strategic state of the entities. The agency for national security, and the Faculty of security, we will proceed with the implementation of joint activities, including training courses, workshops, and academic panel discussions, with the aim of building up a professional capacity, and to support young people in their professional pursuits.
