The agency of national security

On march 12, 2025 year at the headquarters of the Agency for national security, was signed a Memorandum of understanding on co-operation between the Agency, the national security Agency for the job. The memorandum was signed by the director general of the Agency for national security, Jana Hristovski, c.d. director general of the Agency for employment, the Сељатин Бељули.

With the signing of the Memorandum of understanding, the two bodies formally expressed its readiness to establish a close and constructive co-operation, which will be based on the principles of trust, understanding and a shared commitment to the protection of the interests of the whole country. The goal of this collaboration is to ensure the effective implementation of the legally established responsibilities of the two institutions, with a particular emphasis on the detection, prevention, and reduction of security threats and risks that may endanger the national security of the country.

The memorandum sets out the basis for a long-term cooperation, with the aim of a mutual exchange of information, which are necessary for carrying out the responsibilities of the two agencies. The exchange of information will be strictly regulated, and will be carried out only within the framework of law and so on, in order to ensure the protection of sensitive information and the privacy of the citizens.

A key aspect of the collaboration is the exchange of information by both government agencies as well as the details about the method of exchange of these data, which are necessary for the implementation of the statutory responsibilities of the two institutions. With this cooperation, we will provide a coordinated approach to the detection of a potential security risks, and create a sound basis for the mutual support in the creation of the national security.
